Hobbit @ ACL 2016

The annual meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL) is the premier conference of the field of computational linguistics, covering a broad spectrum of diverse research areas that are concerned with computational approaches to natural language. ACL took place in Germany and was held at the Humboldt University, in the heart of Berlin, August 7-12, 2016.

In the context of ACL the 4th BioASQ Workshop was held as part of the BioNLP Workshop, on August 12-13, 2016. The workshop was organised by NCSR “Demokritos” and University of Houston. The goals of the workshop were to present the results of the fourth BioASQ challenge and further the interaction with the wider community of biomedical semantic indexing and question answering.

HOBBIT was briefly introduced during the workshop introduction, by Anastasia Krithara. In addition, leaflets of the project were distributed to the participants.
